Started in a back kitchen in 2014.

Marlow & Co. began as a quiet collaboration between two friends — Iris, a textile designer, and June, a potter — who couldn't find the kind of well-made, unbranded objects they wanted in their own homes.
For the first three years we worked from a kitchen on Marlow Street, selling at weekend markets and packing orders by hand. In 2018 we opened the storefront on Linden — half shop, half studio, with a kiln in the back and a long table for workshops in the front.
Today we're a team of four, with a small rotating group of guest makers each season. Nothing in the shop is made anywhere we can't walk to.
Made by hand
Every object passes through one or two pairs of hands — never more.
Local materials
Linen from a mill in Pennsylvania, clay from upstate New York, pigments mixed in-house.
Small batches
We make what we can sell in a season. When it's gone, we make something new.
